Words are my passion. I believe in the power of words to connect and inspire people, to teach, touch, and heal them.

I taught Language Arts and ESL for eight years before transitioning to freelance writing and editing. My education includes a BA in creative writing and film, an MA in applied linguistics, and training in medical writing and developmental editing.

​

I'm a member of the American Medical Writers Association, the Editorial Freelancer's Association, and ACES the society for editing.

​

I have had the pleasure of writing and editing for businesses and individuals including those in the pharmaceutical and scientific industries, human services, psychology, and independent authors of fiction.
